This week I worked on my trifold. For my trifold I got inspiration from my scrapbook and carefully ripped some of the pages out of it and taped them on my trifold. I put scotch tape on the side of the paper so it will still be flippable for my double sided pages that I did. And for every page I put how I did it and what I loved about it. I also scrapbooked on my trifold. For example, I showed how I can do purple, and green scrapbooking themes. I also glued down some moss (fake moss of course) in the empty spaces to make it look more full and forestry to. And for my title on the trifold I drew with a green paint marker. And on top of my title I wrote how I have met my goal. And that is what I did for my sixth and final week of my 20% project.
Memories
My favorite memory’s are so valuable to me. But since this school year is almost over I want to share some of my favorite memory’s. My first favorite memory is in Miss:Moffat class when we were learning Irish dancing for fun and me, and my friends (Lucy and Dev) tried to do a two person dance with three people. And then we all tried to turn and then we al fell. Everyone was ok because everyone was laughing. My second favorite memory is when me and my friends would get a tennis ball at lunch and play monkey in the middle. This stuck out to me because it was very fun. And my last very favorite memory at school ethics year is when all of me and my friends worked on out scrap booking together for the 20% project and my friend tripped and fell but she was ok and we all laughed it off. And those are my three favorite memory’s from this school year.
My Mom
Someone who has been influential in my life is my mom. My mom has always been there for me. My mom is such an important figure in my life because she has taught me grace, and kindness. She also has taught me how to cook. She always makes these amazing dish that is a family tradition during Christmas time. And she taught how to make them and now I help her every single year. Another thing she has taught me is that if you want something you need to work for it. So for this Mother’s Day I want to do something special for her. Because she does so much for me and my family.
20% Project- Week 5
This week I have finally figured out that I love doing side to side scrapbooking and not one scrapbook page on each page. I have also been experimenting with different color schemes. I have mostly been doing green because that is what I have most matierials for but now I have done brown, a rustic pink, and purple. Which I have been really liking. And if I had to choose my favorite it would have to be maybe the rustic pink or purple. It’s because it’s something new I have been doing and I really like finding new colors that I did not even know I had. It’s also because pink and purple are some of my favorite colors so that helps. And next week I will try to move on to my trifold. My plan is to kind of scrapbook on my trifold and maybe rip some of my pages out and glue it onto the trifold.
20% Project-Week 4
This week for week 4 of my 20% project I have completed so much scrapbooking. I have in fact over accomplished my weekly goal. Which was one page per week but I have been getting so good at it that I now have completed at least 10 pages. Which is great and I will continue to do more. I have also been experimenting with more colors, stickers, goggle eyes, and much more. I have also been figuring out how I like my pages to line up. I am debating if I like them to be back to back or I could also do side to side. So far I have one side to side page and many more back to back pages but it is doable to still do the side to side pages I’m just still not sure which one I should do yet. And I can not wait to see what I do next week.
Rad Reading-April
This April I finished reading It End With Us by Colleen Hoover. This book is about a young girl who had just moved to Oregon and had thought she had found the love of her life, but she soon finds out he is not who she think he is at all, so she has to get away but as she is struggling to make up a plan to leave him a very big plot twist happens. This plot twist will make her life much harder. During this time she is also scared she has and will become her mother’s daughter. Personally I love this book. It can teach you that if something is wrong you have to speak up and sometimes even be stubborn in some situations. You can take a lot from this book, good, and bad. But I think you can alaways learn from the bad and do the good. And my all time favorite character from this book is Lily Bloom. She is the main character yet still my favorite. This is because she is hard working and even opened her very own flower shop even though there were some challenges along way. One quote to help this claim is ”It needs a lot of work.” This is what Lily’s mom said when Lily was trying to find a store to open up her flower shop in. Lily ends up buying this place and cleans it up to make it a successful business which it does become.
20% Project-Week 3
For the third week of my 20% project, I have learned so much. I have also learned how I like to set up my page on my scrapbook. For example, I first like to choose and pick out all of my materials such as stickers, papers, tape, and scissors that will cut out designes on the paper I have. Then I will flip to the page I want to scrapbook on and set all of my matierials down and plan my layout. I have figured out that I like to put all of my bigger papers on the bottom of the paper and then layer it with the smaller papers and stickers on top. And after I am done with that I sometimes like to put washy tape around the border of the paper to make it look more crisp and clean. So as you can see for week three of my 20% project I have learned so much about how I like to scrapbook.
20% Project- Week 2
Hello my name is Charlotte and this is what I did for week 2 of my 20% project. So first I got my materials and unpacked them, I had materials such as papers, notebook, stickers, washy tape, etc… So first I had experienced with the different colors and sizes of my papers and washy tape. So when I got to class I had completed my goal and in fact exceeded it. So when I got to work I knew exactly what I was doing. First, I always choose which and what materials to use, after that I will work on my layout and see how I wants to have the materials look like on the page, the last but not least I will make sure everything is put down everything so it does not move with sticky dots. And that is what I have done and learned for week 2 of my 20% project.
What it Mean To be a Good Neighbor
What does it mean to be a good neighbor? Well first a neighbor is someone you live next to. For example a person next door to you, across the street from you, of someone you may share a wall with. But there are many types of neighbors. But, what does it mean to be a good neighbor? Well, to me it means to help them out or even as simple as being nice and kind/helpful neighbor to them. For example, say you neighbor went out of town and they needed your help to dog sit there dogs. You would do it right? Depending on the circumstances you probably would. But you have to take care of there dog such as give them food, water, and a clean space to play in. Another example is if you have a new neighbor you could bring them some home made baked goods. Just to get off on the right start and to be inviting. And that is what it is to be a good neighbor.
My Favorite Day Of The Week
At last a smile comes on face when I wake up and don’t have to get ready for school. Can you guess which day it is? It’s Saturday of course! My very favorite day of the week is Saturday. It’s because all I have to worry about that day is getting ready for my game, packing for my brother and cousins games, and getting in the car to ride over to the fields. I love Saturdays because I go from my game, to my brothers game, and sometimes I get to see my cousins games in between to! I love hanging out at the fields and making great and long lasting memories there. I also love watching the game. It has and always will be so fun to watch to me. And I’m always excited to see the outcome of the game and see how we get there. And that is why Saturday is my favorite day of the week. What’s yours?
