If you could have any job in the world what would it be?

If I had my dream job I would be an entrepreneur, but not just any entrepreneur. I would have a little shop on the beach on Oahu Hawaii. Preferably in Waikiki or Kailua. And in this shop I would sell coconuts, lays, candles, soaps, beach towels, snorkel gear, and local food such as poke, spam, and seafoods. This shop would be on or near the beach. This shop would be my dream job because it is my dream to live on Hawaii one day swimming in the ocean almost everyday well owning and running a little shop. I love this idea of mine because there are many local stores in Hawaii such as the ABC store or the Kalapawai Store which is my favorite. I think it would be perfect to own and work on the beach in Hawaii well living next to the water. And that is why owning a little shop on Hawaii is my dream job.

This February I read a book called It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. I have not yet finished this book but I am currently on page 86. This book is about a girl who had just moved to Organ but her father just died. Even though her father was no the nicest person her mother still pressured her to come to his funeral which did not go very well. When she gets back home she meats a guy on the roof top which has a crush on her and she has a crush mon him. But there is one problem. They do not want remotely the same things in the life so she thinks it will never work even though he is desperately trying to make it work. Personally I very much like this book so far because I have a short attention span which means I love when books get to the plot very quickly which this book very much does so. I also love this book because it will keep you on your toes. Like when you think something will happen but then it turns out not to and you are in shock what will happen next. And my favorite character from this book is Lily Bloom. Lily Bloom is the main character of this book and she is very determined, truthful, and hard working. For example, “ I try to find something to grab hold of for balance, but the crates knock me off the chair. When I lands on the floor, I can fell my foot bend in the wrong direction. It’s followed by a rush of pain straight up my leg and down to my toes.” This shows that even though an obstacle got thrown in her way well she was trying to open her new business she got back up and finally opened her shop no matter what obstacles are thrown in her way this shows that she is a hard and determined person. And when she wanted to own her own flower shop she bought a small building which was a mess but she was determined to get it up and ready in know time. And that is exactly what she did. And last but not least my favorite quote from this book so far is “ Of course if I could, I would have made it where he never touched her. But the abuse was inevitable with their marriage, and it became our norm. When I got older, I realized that not doing something about it made me just guilty.” This is my favorite quote in this book because it shows that even though people may have had a ruff past you can choose if you want to turn your life around or not and not to be always sad or not. Just like lily bloom did by opening a flower shop.

Imagine you were invisible for twenty-four hours, what would you do?

If I were invisible for twenty-four hours I know exactly what I would do. First I would wake up and get ready for the day even though I was invisible. Then I would go for a walk around my neighborhood. But well I would go on the walk around the neighborhood I might go take a peak and be a little nosy and see what there house look like. And then after about one hour of wondering in and out of houses I’ve always wondered what would be inside, I decide to go walk to the grocery store to go get some snacks since my cousins party is tomorrow. I would get chips and soda then run back home so fast so people don’t notice that random food is floating in the air. And after that I would go to school. But not with my backpack and anything I need to be at school. Instead I would go to all of my least favorite teachers classrooms and creep them out all day long. I think it would be pretty funny and give me a giggle. After that I would got to the lunch table me and my friends sit at at lunch and break and see what they talk about when I’m not there. I think that would be pretty interesting. And lastly I would walk home and get ready for bed because that was a long day. And that is what I would do in a day if I was invisible.

It was around 4:45 AM on July 12th on the Golden Angel which was the name of our ship. We knew there would be some ruff seas but nobody expected the seas to be this ruff. We could hear waves crashing against the side of the boat as we rocked back and fourth. Until the waves pushed the boat on its side and that when it all went to hell. Children screaming for there mothers, people shouting and yelling, people being selfish, and people being selfless. It was complete chaos. And the worst part was there was nothing you could possibly do to stop it. I woke up to the sound of water rushing into my room. I quickly jumped out of bed and ran out side to see what was going on. Half the ship submerged in water with half of the people in it. And the other half floating with people crying out for help. I quickly knew that I was soon to be one of the people who were submerged in the water. I jumped out of my room door into the water then… I was washed up on a little island with a tiny reaf and a sand bank around it. I quickly got up and looked around and only one soul could be found. My dog. I must have blacked out because I don’t remember grabbing him when I jumped. In fact I could not even find him. I sprinted over to see if he was ok. I woke him up and he stood up in concern very quick. He was as confused as I was. We eventually built a hut and learned how to hunt for fish, coconuts, and pigs on the island. We grew old together until… one day about 5 years later we woke up to a group of people standing over us. I woke up scared not knowing who these people were. Then me and my pup jumped up in excitement. There here to save us! Even though it was hard to leave the island that gave me so much and even save me and my dogs life. It was time, to get saved.

This Jonathan I read a book called Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover. I have not yet finished this book but I am currently on page 222. This book is about a heartbroken college girl who has gotten cheated on by her boyfriend which was cheating with her roommate, which is also her best friend. She then has no choice but to move in with a stranger that is about her age. She used to sing to his music on her balcony every night since he would always play guitar. They got each other’s number so they could talk and wright songs together even though they were complete strangers. She had no choice but to move in with him which he was kind enough to do so. But there is a big problem. The guy she moved in with likes her and she really likes him. The only problem is that he has a girlfriend. So they keep denying love for each other. I have to say I very much love this book. It always keeps you on your toes so you almost just can’t put this book down sometimes. I also love how the story starts drama from the beginning. It keeps you wondering, what’s next? This book also has some very big plot twists in it so if you are impatient like me and always want more out of a book, then this is the one for you. And my favorite character in this book is Ridge. My favorite character is Ridge because he is so creative. He always make music and finds new ways to hear someone’s voice. Well at least the vibrations. Ridge is deaf but very creative. One line that supports this is “I close my eyes in search for a beat of her heart, which has slowed down since the first song. The vibration of her voice meets my cheek, and I swear my heart flinches. She feels the way I imagined her voice would feel during a song but but multiplied by a thousand.” This quote is important to me because it shows how creative Ridge is because of his new ways to feel vibration as a deaf musician. Such as how to feel a persons voice.

I look at the sunset with the pretty orange, pink, purple, and a splash of blue in clouds. The clouds always look like they are made of cotton candy. There so fluffy and fuzzy but, what beyond. What beyond the clouds? What beyond the sky? Is there really an outer space? And if so how did we get here? And if not, where even are we? Sometimes I wonder if life is just a dream. Sometimes I wonder if I might be in surgery waiting to wake up but I’m under anesthesia in another universe. And this is my dream. As I sit and look at the sky and overthink every move I’ve ever made in life and if it was all for nothing, I hear my friends calling me to the water. I quickly snap out of my over thinking and walk to the water. The waves look not rough but not calm. Like perfect condition. As i walk into the water a wave crashes into me. “No!” I say as I get drenched in the freezing water. Well, it’s not exactly freezing but i was sure not ready to get fully dunked. As my friends are laughing I realize I don’t even know these people. Then as I am trying to remember who theses people are a wave knocks me dow and drags me out to sea. As I am confused of what’s going on I resurface then as I open my eyes and inhale I am suddenly in a doctors office with a monitor for my heart rate and intense pain on my leg. I look down and I suddenly don’t have a leg. I desperately yell, shout, and scream for someone to help me. But no one ever came.

“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Dumbledore

What does this quote from Dumbledore meant to you? To me it means that there is always happiness even if it’s not on the surface. Sometimes you just have to dig for it a little. And sometimes a little deeper. But no matter what there is joy and happiness all around even if you can’t see it right away. I personally love this quote from Dumbledore. It shows that sometimes you need to just flip a switch and you could find much more rather than digging around blindly. It’s much easier that way. Even if it’s hard at first. I think this quote also shows just how wise Dumbledore really is. I mean he is the head wizard in Harry Potter. It makes sense why though. I just think I can relate to this quote a lot because sometimes I also need to remember to turn on the light switch instead of digging around blindly. And I’m sure you can to. In fact I’m pretty sure every single person on this planet can relate. Because sometimes everybody needs a little reminder to go turn on the light switch.

My hero is my great aunt.

My hero is and always will be my great aunt. She is always there for me and always has been.

My great aunt named is Katrina. Even though she lives in Virginia we alaways call on the phone and she comes to visit during holidays. She has always stood by my side no matter what. No matter how far away she was. She also makes really good potato salad. Even though I always ask for her recipe she never gives it to me, she always says it’s her secret recipe and that she will give it to me when I’m older. But I’m not sure I believe that anymore because she’s been saying that to me since I was child so who knows. And the best part about her is that she is always involved and Knowles what going on no matter what. She also always comes to family reunions and sometimes we even do little rode trips as a family and I can’t imagine one without her. She just always make them so fun and lively, oh and always knows the best games to play. Even when I was little she would play hide and seek with me and my brother. And even when she found us she would pretend she didn’t so it made me and my brother think we were really good at hide and seek. Even though we weren’t and we would hide in plain sight.

And that is why my great Aunt Katrina is my hero.

Animals Make Us Human by Temple Grandin

Animals Make Us Human by Temple Grandin is an educational book about animals such as dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs, chickens and poultry, wild life, and zoos. Although I have to say my top three favorite sections were dogs, cats, and cows. My very favorite one to learn about was dogs because history of dogs and their behaviors are very interesting to me. Partly because I have two dogs at home and I want to learn more about the species. I loved learning about how much dogs are still related to wolves and how many similar behaviors they have to humans. Did you know that dogs are so tuned in with humans that a dog is more happy when you are happy. And wolves live the way most people do. Wolves in the wild do not live in wolf packs and they do not necessarily have an alpha male who would fight other wolves to maintainer and keep dominance. Instead they live in families with a mom, a dad, and children.and the most interesting part to me is that wolves can sometime take in/ adopt another wolf who is not in the pack and treat it like a child. Just like when a human adopts a child. And sometimes even a relative or grandma/ grandpa wolf can live with the wolf family. Personally I think that is shocking to know that a wolf can be so much like a human and that dogs come from wolves who live like that. And the dog breed that is most related to wolves is actually a Siberian husky. Siberian husky’s have 15/15 traits of a wolf. Yet are still considered a dog when actually they are basically a wolf. And lots of people want dogs because they are cute and cuddly but the truth is not everyone can have a dog. Let alone more than 1. This is because dogs need daily care and activity’s. Such as physical and mental training. This is called a dogs SEEKING system. It is very healthy to help activate this system in your dog and you could do this very easily by teaching your dogs new tricks and going on long walks. (at least one hour per day). And if you are gone a lot during the day such as at work or school consider getting another dog so your dog will not be lonely all day.

This is just some of the information I find most interesting on dogs and wolves and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Instead of a New Year’s resolution to follow I will be choosing a word to focus on.

My word for 2024 happy. I chose happy because no matter what happens you always need to be happy. And look on the bright side of life no matter what, even if the bright side of life is small and the bad part that you are contentiously worrying about is big focus on the bright side and slowly try to fix the bad and take it easy.

My second reason is in order to be happy you need to be a better person. So the better person you are and how much of a hard worker you are can also depend on hippiness. So if you do something good for other people and can make them happy and you fulfilled and happy. Which is a bonus for me.

And my third reason why I chose the word happy is because you can’t alaways be down about your life because someone out in the world alaways has it worse. So always be grateful and carry yourself with grace. And a guarantee if you are a better version of yourself everyday you will be always be happy.
